Guest guest
I've been in graphic design for 25+ years. I see it over and over -- as does every other designer. When there are too many designs or too many people making decisions, it's nearly impossible to come to any good, balanced decision. Ideas get discussed, then thrown out when a new idea comes, then another, then another... I tried to start a Favorites list, but no one used it. At some point, we need to gather the text ideas and pick one. I suggest we select one person to collect the ideas and create a voting form. I think Josh is good for this -- if he's willing. Then everyone who has ideas, select no more than two of your favorites and submit them with a VERY short pros/cons reason why/how each idea would best serve the misophonia cause, and what potential graphic might go with it. I suggest we vote in two sessions. First, we each vote for our top three favorite phrases. Then we take the overall top three winners and develop rough designs for them. We can then vote on those final designs. If anyone has a better idea for getting through this process, now's a good time to mention it. Be well. Guest guest
I see your point, but as I recall you had already started posting designs and images in your own emails. Guest guest
....just wondering...are you more interested in pointing fingers...or finding a solution? I'm a little disappointed that when I took the effort to help organize, that my suggestion is met with such a " biting " tone. I think I need to back out of this discussion. I've given my ideas. I have no more energy for this. > > I see your point, but as I recall you had already started posting designs and images in your own emails. > > > > ________________________________ > > To: Soundsensitivity > Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2012 10:12 AM > Subject: too many cooks in the kitchen > > > > I've been in graphic design for 25+ years. Guest guest
I'm sorry that you took that as "biting", I am just confused because Josh asked for graphical image ideas as well originally, and he himself started with an thumbnail drawing of superman. Your efforts of organizing are much appreciated ! and I did say you made a good point, or I that's how I meant it anyway.
