Guest guest
Thought I say hello from hot South Texas. My name is man, I am 29 and have had Adult onset Still's Disease for the past 11 years. So you live in Scotland. I have to admit that is one of the many places I would love to visit. Just for the scenery. At the moment I think I am going through another flare. I have never been in remission. All I know is that my body hurts all over, even my muscles hurt to the touch. I also have fibromyaglia, hypothyroid, gastroparesis (my stomach muscles are very slow and do not digest food correctly), and type II diabetes. I also go to school, I am in a medical program scooting along in the classes because it can become difficult to go to class and sit there and learn without having brain fog or any of that other junk. It is frustrating at times because I use to be an honor student and now my brain just doesn't want to work the properly. Well I just thought I would say hello and hope things are good on your side of the world. Hugs and many blessings, man Corpus Christi, Tx
Guest guest
Hello Fran, The medications I have taken to help with AOSD are: - Remicade, Kineret, plaqunil, rituxan, enbrel, orencia, - Of course I am still on prednisone, I am on cymbalta (helps with depression and fibromyaglia, I am on neurotin which helps with migraines and it is suppose to help with fibro, and on methrotrexate as well. I am currently on the pain medication nucynta which has helped me sleep and with the pain. Honestly Fran I don't know how I function day in and day out. At times when I am surrounded by people I feel very much alone. No one around me understands what I feel or go through except this group of people. Well I hope all is going well with you. Please keep in touch Hugs and many blessings, man Corpus Christi, Tx
