Guest guest
We all share the same morning horrors. When I have pain medication it helps me a lot but it's almost impossible to get. I talked with my insurance company and was told how they have cracked down on them, use to be if you had a change in your script they would fill it, not anymore. My doctor told me to take 10 instead of the 5 so I did and then took the new script to the pharmacy and you guessed it, to early. My doctor has to call to get it over written and it can take awhile to be approved.. It's crazy. I know this veteran and he gets 350 pills every month, 350! This low life then sells them. So people like him affect people us. I'm rambling, it makes me angry. I would like to know if people have problems with the slightest touch hurting? Thanks again for your replies. Guest guest
I *did* have pain with the slightest touch, Cat. It's not as bad now, though I usualy have some version of pain meds.. I actually found out I had Fibro because I had been a social caseworker and did home visits. I realized one day that I could no longer walk across town on 138th st w/o stopping, and, when sitting on a bus, I felt terrible pain just because my arm & shoulder touched the window next to me. I couldn't stand it anymore. Nowadays, I have huge pain attacks still where *nothing* helps, but it isn't all the time anymore. Btw, there are definitely stronger tougher laws about pain meds now....I have ranted angrily too! The best way to go is to find a pain mgt specialist. One who doesn't think shots in the facet joints are the only answer. K. thank you everyone for your replies, meds & touch ?? We all share the same morning horrors. Guest guest
Yes, I know how that is Netty. I remember feeling like that too. I'm so sorry it's like that. I used to do the same thing...when I felt a little better, I then overdid and so felt worse, *again* oftn for for a few days. It's better if we pace ourselves... I'm not perfect at it either, but I no longer try to keep going, and if I need to go somewhere, I never make plans for afterward or even the next day. --it's impossible for me and I know it. I'm hurting quite a bit now myself but not so bad as you are now. I'm short on pain meds myself so right now am just using tramadol. Do you have muscle relaxers and/or anything to help you sleep? Those can help you both relax, and feel better but also is healing when we've done too much. Take care. Re: thank you everyone for your replies, meds & touch ??
