Thank you, sound advice. Never in a million years would I have expected him to

act this way. His friend thuoght he was drunk and be enbrressed abot it. I think

he is under the inpression that i'f somehing happens to me then his dead beat

friend will get his job back. This won't happen. My boss has my back, as well

staff and other customers. I will be cre full ith the letter or not sen it at

all. Maybe just a print out describing misophonia.

yes, use it as a defense for sure if he takes it that far. I can't believe a DA would be interesting in pursing it but just case have the documentation ready. email me if you need anything, balfatale@.... I'm a criminal prosecutor in CA.Heidi

I think there might be an official DSM diagnosis code for “hyperacusis” which Misophonia falls under. That might be useful for “proving” that Misophonia is an actual disability (which was discriminated against). There were some previous posts on this in relation to getting accomodations in school settings.
