Guest guest
, can I ask a favor? When you're at the conference can you ask Dr. Cush what some of the known triggers of Stills are?? I figure if anyone knows he will. I'm also typing up a letter asking the same questions to my Rd (Dr. Kantor)(FANTASTIC RD!) as if there is any chance in hell of me getting a military disability I'll be so much better off! Guest guest
Kirk, I will print out several of the questions for him that members ask and see what he has time for. I know he has stated he will have a few minutes for questions/answers after each presentation but it will be short and I’m sure those attending will have questions too. Although time will be short, he does seem the sort of man that would answer later if there isn’t the time that day. I also thought of this when the discussion about the meningitis onsets came up this past week. I will do everything I can to bring back whatever he will offer us. He has been so kind thus far. Guest guest
Thanks again...This is one fight I have no intentions of giving up on! Although there is no way for me to be 100% sure the immunizations/vaccinations and almost immediate hospitalization was the initial cause of Stills for me, it seems far to coincidental to me. Add to that the way I've been getting kicked around like a football no one wanted for close to 10 years and they have a very determined adversary to deal with! Since I was 12, I've never lost a fight, and I have no intention of starting now, especially after how the local V.A. rep treated me.....I actually had him by the throat due to his arrogance towards me.....luckily for him I was using a walker and couldn't do much else!
