I know this may sound toataly out of line, but I would like to help you buy the

white noise generater that you so greatly need. I manage a bar, so I have no

desire to do any more socialising than that. I don't drink, I hate to shop. What

I spend most my money on is health insurance $830 a month (because they won't

let me drop maternity due to pre-excisting conditions, medication and

occasionaly gambling. Everyone helped me so much when I was so upset about

slapping my patron that I would like to give back. I am very obsessive with my

thoughts, and if it wern't for all of you I would have made my self sick with

worry and about over-reacting. So please let me give back a little.I have no

idea what the price is, but I would like to contribute as much as I can. You

have it so hard. It is much easier to tell someone that tapping their pen,

fingers Credit card is very bothersome, but telling them that the very sound of

their voice grates on the nerves would be a very hard thing to do. If it will

give you some peace of mind, please let me help, at least a little. Like I have

said before, I'm very lucky that my staff and customers humor me when it comes

to what may seem to them as my insane fixation on certain sounds. I can see how

That is so nice of you! Jen, I would like to contribute as well. My email is

meredith.rosol@.... I know how hard it can be with mouth sounds. My mom

and grandpa both do this weird silent clicking thing with their throats a lot of

the time, and they never realize they do it. The chewing of my immediate family

members drives me up the wall. I wear earplugs whenever they are eating, and my

relatives know that if it is a holiday and we are all eating together, I choose

my seat first and choose who will be around me, and I always have 1 or both

earplugs in.

since joining this group all I have found is kindness and support. In all ways

possible, people offer support, ideas, suggestions, sympathy and for me even

legal support. I always thought I was alone in this and wasn't sure how I would

feel as part of a group. But as I know that people at work support me, I know

that they really don't understand me. " It takes one. To know one. " I think that

it is great that we all have something to offer, it dosn't matter if it is

money, legal support, common triggers or experiences, we are all here to share

information and support. It may take a long time to find a cure, but in the mean

time we have each other. I'm not religiouse, but bless you Merideth, bless all

Oh no, that's ok. You don't have to help with the costs, but I am very thankful

for the offers (smile). My parents told me that they are going to pay for the

white noise generators. I already spoke to them about it. Besides the

generators probably cost a lot of money. I'm not sure of the costs, but I don't

think that they're cheap at all. :-)

thats so heartwarming and thoughtful., i too am a misophonia sufferer.. i couldnt imagine working in a office enviroment or a bar. no way.... i too would like to help in some small way , i think its great to of found this website after 35 years i thought me and my twin bro. where the only weirdos with this condition..(so please )if you would let me contribute let me know... thanks
