Guest guest
Just my two cents... I was just thinking of something... what if the medical world or researchers, term Misophonia something like mental illness (like schizophrenia or something that we don't want the world to know about us. So here we are wearing t-shirts announcing that we have it. Just sayin... For fund-raising I think we should target those who have it and their families. Those people understand Misophonia the most and I believe, would want to contribute to research funds. They in turn can spread the word about the information we have gathered on the website. That's 2500+ people who could get the word out privately, that we need funds for research. I also think the mug idea is great. How better to start up a conversation with a co-worker than that?? Also for homes with sufferers who want to talk about it. Also, I don't see the rush in the t-shirt brainstorming. Whatever is picked will probably set an image for this syndrome and we want to make sure it is what everyone agrees on and feels comfortable with. We are all dealing with this in some fashion, so let's not rush into something that could be all wrong.
