Guest guest
Hi Patti, Yet again, we have something in common. Music. Ed and I met through music, we both play guitar and sing. We play at different places as a duo (Dark Horse. We also have a music room. Ed is very quiet, so am I and music is what gives us both an " outlet " I guess. I know Larry also plays (OneAvidMan). Maybe someday we should form a PSC group that rocks! Gracie

Guest guest
I'm afraid I can't carry a note in a bucket, Mike has all the talent as do most of his family. Oddly enough alot of my family was musical with the fiddle and piano....oh well, I'm the cook of the family I guess!! Mike used to have a duo with his first wife they were called 'Blakeney Still' I believe and used to play in the US quite a bit. We are from Nova Scotia. Glad to hear we have some musicians....Mike has just developed a ganglion cyst on his wrist because he's been practising so much getting ready for all his Christmas bookings and New Years...he plays mostly old Rock and Roll, 50's,60's,70's and up. Sometime I joke cause it's like he's stuck in the 60's, I always tell him someone forgot to go back and get him!! Have a good day, I'm having a better one today thank God! Guest guest
Well I hope I can join in with y'all. I play guitar and sing in a rock-n-roll band (Expressway) with my husband, , in Eugene. It is a great tension reliever for a week of working, although sometimes I'm am not too thrilled at the prospect of playing until 2:00 am on a Friday night. We could have PSC Aid, you know like Farm Aid Eileen Re: I've been a sook today! Hi Patti, Yet again, we have something in common. Music. Ed and I met through music, we both play guitar and sing. Guest guest
Eileen, That's wild. I know what you mean about the late hours. That's the only thing that stinks, besides all the smoke in the clubs! Maybe we could do something like that someday. I wish we could do something to raise awareness for organ donation. PSC Aid! Let's do it!
Guest guest
Patti, It seems like that's all people want to hear (old time rock and roll). We learn new songs, and although they go over sometimes, they always want the Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Buffet, etc. I have to admit, I like the older stuff too. For once we are not playing any Christmas/New Year's parties. We haven't been looking. Ed hasn't the energy lately. Hopefully we can get back into it again someday. I miss it. Take Care Gracie
