Guest guest
I forgot to mention that the lady doctor we talked to said she had been in that department only two months, and has talked with FIVE other PSC patients.. think about that: there are only 5.5 million Danes and she has been there only 2 months at one of three " university hospitals " ...and has already seen five PSC'ers.. Mette and I have talked about her setting up a Scandinavian PSC-Support group in Danish (Danish, Norwegian and Swedish is similar enough that they can all be together in one).. she can be the " link " between the English dominated Web and the folks here that need support too..(remember, there is a 300 patient high dose urso study in Sweden!---and we have not ONE email address ending in .se) Then, as PSCF grows it can spawn one in Spanish, French, German etc.. there is power in numbers.. we may be rare, but if enough of us band together we can make a REAL difference in the course of the search for a cure..
