Guest guest
Hi Debbie, When I saw this pre airing I thought of you and your decision. Good choice on your part. Other ways to get the word out. Have you tried Dr. Oz??? prn OMG! I am watching Dr Phil right now and thanking god! I wrote on here a few months back about being contacted to go on the Dr Phil show to talk about Misophonia. I had asked everyone advise and got some great feed back. One of the reasons I did not go is because it was not going to be a show dedicated to Misophonia but rather it was a show about people with strange syndromes. Well.....the episode is on! There is a guy on here that wear adult diapers and literally wants to be a full time baby! I would have been linked in a show with this guy?! WOW!Just wanted to thank everyone again for the great advise!!Debbie
Guest guest
That would have hurt what the public perception became of us immensely. I can't believe that Dr. Phil, a psychologist, would even attempt to lump something like this in the same show with a nutcase like that. I feel sorry for whoever DID accept to go on that show. The more I hear about Dr. Phil, the less and less I like him. I'm so glad you didn't go on that show! To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2012 4:30 PM Subject: OMG! Guest guest
I completely agree with your post, Lou-Ellen. I taped the show assuming that it would be a really wonderful and thought-provoking 60 minutes but all I realized was that I had stopped watching Dr. Phil long ago for very sound reasons. Come on, Man! > > That would have hurt what the public perception became of us immensely. Guest guest
I wrote several letters to Dr. Oz over a 3-month period, the last one was about 6 months ago. No response. Then I watched an episode about " being cranky " or something like that and he asked a woman if her husband's breathing made her cranky. What a d & *k. > > Hi Debbie, > When I saw this pre airing I thought of you and your decision. > Good choice on your part. > Other ways to get the word out. Have you tried Dr. Oz??? > prn > OMG!
