I’m sure you have already mentioned this but I have to ask, did you mention those of us who are pursuing therapies such as chiropractor or neurofeedback or other? Also, did you mention that this is a global group, not limited to just the US.Wonderful work!Thanks

Thank you for your message. I did not mention other therapies at the time I sent

my original letter. My aim was to keep the letter as brief as possible but at

the same time explain what misophonia is and why that particular research

scientist might find it interesting. Each one will have his own ideas of how to

look at the problem to figure out what is causing it and then hopefully look for

ways to 'fix' it. I also did not mention that it is global but did say that

there are over 2500 members in one support group alone. I am currently involved

with a group of people in the community who are working on a letter that can be

sent to many researchers to introduce them to misophonia and interest at least

some enough that they will do research. (Two of the three that I have contacted

had never heard of it as I am sure will be the case with most.) It will be

mentioned in that letter that misophonia occurs all over the world.
