I appreciate all the information, you have been a lot of help.

Ive been doing all shots by myself. So far I had two, tonight is my 3rd one. I

picked evening instead of morning because I have troubles sleeping at night. Im

having hard time finding a comfortable position to relax. All the pain and

swelling is driving me nuts.

The nurse who delivered my injections explained how to do it, but no one really

showed me with actual injection. I read every message and any type of

instructions i could find to help me. The only thing that it didn't say was to

look for a spot where theres no blood vessels, but luckily i came up with that

on my own ;).

I was told by a pharmacist that the first kineret shipment that came in on

monday wasn't iced, and i had to wait for the 2nd one to come in on tuesday, so

far two shots were a lil shaky. i took it out of the fridge about hr before the

injection. poking the skin is a piece of cake, the actual injection is the

painful part, it hurts pretty bad. ill try to warm it up in my hands today to

see if its going to feel any different. so far ive been using my thighs, i find

these areas the easiest to pinch. I was also told to put ice pack right after

the injection, that seems to help with the skin reaction.

Ive had another docts appt today, turns out that he forgot to test me for tb

before i started kineret, but ive told him that theres no way that im actually

stopping kineret. Ill continue taking it and will see the tb results on monday.

Ive told him about my 5 hr pain in center upper abdomen, but he didn't seem to

be concerned. ive been taking anti inflammatories for past 3 months non stop so

maybe thats what caused the pain. Ive started taking costco brand prilosect otc,

hopefully it will prevent stomach ulcers.

im hoping my 3rd one will be easier, am i always suppose to check if i injected

it the blood vessel ? that part hurts pretty bad too when i have to pull the

syringe up a bit. whats going to happen if i actually do inject it in a vessel ?

is it life threating or will it work just as any other time ?
