I've never had a real issue with Acne in my life and have been on Kineret

for years now.....I would see a Dermatologist as they will know what the

cause will be.

OK...what I was trying to say is that to my knowledge, Kineret doesn't

cause Acne.....Steroids will if memory serves me correctly though......I

would ask my Rheumatologist and most likely make an appointment with a

Dermatologist (skin Dr.)......

Let me know if I can be of more assistance...Kirk.

I do not know, but I have been on it for the better part of 3 years and have

not had any probblems with acne. Inside every box there is a leaflet. Check

it and see if there is any mention of acne.

for those of you taking or have taken Kineret, does it cause bad acne?

Because I have never really had any bad break out until now and i think my

new prescription is to blame..

I agree with Kirk, a dermatologist should be able to sort it out for you.

I've been on Kineret for several years and never had a problem with acne.

When I started taking it my skin looked like it had acne-looking blisters,

but it was on my arm, or wherever I had injected myself

Good luck with that!

I'm not trying to second guess your doctor, but why prescribe antibiotics if the

problem is that your body isn't absorbing vitamins? The normal course of

treatment for not absorbing vitamin b is vitamin b injections...just courious...

I have a question, My name is and I was dx with aosd in Jan. after ruling

out Lymphoma and Hodgkins disease. My rheum. now says because biopsies from my

Lymph nodes showed necrotizing granulomatous Lymphadenitis, It is not stills and

it was probably an infectious process. The problem is that I still am having

joint pain and extreme fatigue. She also has me on plaquenil. I haven't had

fever or weight loss since feb. I don't feel much difference with the plaquenil.

Has anyone else had a similiar experience? I'm very confused , I don't feel well

and I haven't worked since nov. I applied for disability and was turned down

twice and now have a lawyer. If anyone else has had a similiar experience please

let me know. Thank you!

I wish you the best. Keep fighting. Having a lawyer if good to help apply for

SS. Even better is a company that will also do it for you and if very good, they

are called Allsup Inc. Will be keeping you in thought.
