Guest guest
OMG I cant believe your nada thought it shameful for leaking the tape!but you know mine might too. I should ask just for fun haha.. Shows how REALLY different thier minds work from the rest of us. I would have never thought of that myself. My nada is always concerned with what others think, I constantly tell her who cares... Its agravating. -- In WTOAdultChildren1 , " spillproof78 " wrote: > > Listening to it right now. > > Wow, does that phone call bring back memories of my NPD fada. > > Saw the clip with nada, and instead of criticizing Baldwin, she criticized the leaking of the > tape. Guest guest
yes, this is what I was thinking...Kim's way to jabbing at him, and that poor little girl is stuck in the middle !! Jackie Personally I think it exposes both parents as crazy; the leak is just as bad as the message. Leaking it was very passive-aggressive, and not commendable in the least, especially because it was a closed court case. She's using the message to try to get the country against Alec just as much as she seems to be using her daughter against him. Both of them are despicable. And as for Dr. Phil... I've lost a lot of respect for him recently, the most recent being him blaming the VT shootings on violent video games before anyone knew much about the shooter. Shame on him for speculating for attention just like the rest of the media.

Guest guest
Yes, I, too am seeing some tarnishing on Dr. Phil's crown. I already know he and I disagree politically, and sometimes he coddles people that I think deserve a conk in the head. And vice versa. About the leak of the Baldwin phone tape -- I haven't seen yet that it's been established that Kim Basinger was indeed the source of the leak. If she turned it in to her lawyer, then the chain of custody could have a weak link in it anywhere -- someone sympathetic to her would definitely be present either in the lawyer's office or even in the court offices. Also, the daughter could have played a role in letting it out. If I were a victim of my father's tirades -- I might not be above exposing him for what he is. Especially if I were 11 years old. And especially if he's done it to me before, and I've watched him do it to my mother. I might even ask a friend to leak it for me. I know my daughter and her friends are thick as thieves -- and if she confides in them, they probably hate Alec Baldwin. My 12 year old is very tech savvy, and could do it in the same situation. I just see too many players to place this on Basinger's shoulders yet. And Alec Baldwin has no shortage of examples in his past of his explosive temper -- I can't really blame Basinger in this entire drama. If I were a betting person, I'd bet this " bitter " battle has been accelerated over the years by HIM, not her. -Kyla > > > > > > Listening to it right now. > > > > > > Wow, does that phone call bring back memories of my NPD fada. > > > > > > Saw the clip with nada, and instead of criticizing Baldwin, she > > criticized the leaking of the > > > tape. Guest guest
I am glad that someone finally mentioned the fact that maybe the daughter leeked the tape, cause she had had enough of her dad's behavior toward her. Most 11 year olds and I think especially 11 year olds with the amount of money and knowledge these hollywood kids have, could get this done easily. All she would have to do is go to the TMZ website, email them say who she was and get them to call her. Plus, I am sure she could ask a friend how to get a hold of them. Or you know walk up to the paparzzi all over her parents. Lilly kylaboo728 wrote: Yes, I, too am seeing some tarnishing on Dr. Phil's crown. Guest guest
same here Jackie Yes, I, too am seeing some tarnishing on Dr. Phil's crown. I already know he and I disagree politically, and sometimes he coddles people that I think deserve a conk in the head. And vice versa. Guest guest
" I know I would have felt good if someone, anyone in the world could have heard the things that my nada and fada hurled at me when I was little...or even now... " I agree, Music. My NPD fada was a verbally abusive father with a respected public persona. And I used to feel so invalidated, as a child, when he would say awful things to me and then be treated so well by other people. I wondered how any of those people could honestly not know what a mean person he was to his 6 year old. And that being the case, how they wouldn't do or say anything. He wasnt nearly as famous as Alec Baldwin, so I can only imagine how this young girl must feel. I think Dr. Phil is a fool on this issue. I'm steadfast in being glad, for this girl's sake, that her father has been exposed. Hopefully, the shame of having his behavior exposed will cut his rage off at the knees, at least for a little while. > > > > Listening to it right now. > > > > Wow, does that phone call bring back memories of my NPD fada. > > > > Saw the clip with nada, and instead of criticizing Baldwin, she > criticized the leaking of the > > tape. Guest guest
maybe Dr Phil doesn't know about BPD...not all psychologists/psyhichiatriats do... Guest guest
being as " big " a public figure as he is I would have a hard time believing he wouldnt know about it. Was just thinking tho that you never hear him labeling people on his show with disorders hes more about how to help fix the unwanted behaviors/thinking, so seems like he looks at it with a different point of view. and of course if he didnt have a bpd person in his immediate life he might not identify with the effects it really has like we do. just some speculations. > > maybe Dr Phil doesn't know about BPD...not all psychologists/psyhichiatriats > do... > > Jackie > > > I think Dr. Phil is a fool on this issue.
