New to the group, pain management.

Hey, my name is Whitney. I just joined the group and am excited to be able to

share my story with others and hopefully learn something new. I was diagnosed

with Systemic JRA when I was one year old, and I am 24 now. Living with JRA is

all I've known but I am totally okay with that. I have been on numerous

medications. Some have been a blessing and others not so much.

My question tonight is I'd like to know if anyone goes to a pain management

clinic and more information on them. I use pain medication on a nightly bases,

and my rheumy has no problem giving it to me so far. He understands that I need

it, but it has gotten harder to get a hold of him for refills lately. I do not

know much about what a pain management doctor does for you exactly, so any

information will help! Thanks so much!
