Guest guest
Hi Sandi and all. I am a CT VPF Leader and did attend the meeting in Simsbury. As you know, Joanne Yount was there attending a symposium held by the International Pelvic Pain Society. She related some of what she hear at the symposium. Basically, different doctors spoke about their approach to treating vulvodynia. They talked about surgery, guaif treatment, biofeedback, physical therapy, antidepressants/anti seizure meds, etc. She said she had good response with the doctors, many of which took some material. Then we just went around the room and discussed what has been helping each of us. There was a total of about 13 women from CT/MA area.
