Guest guest
To me, one of the toughest challenges of being chronically ill is the isolation. At first, my loneliness was overwhelming. I've tried to learn to open my heart and mind to being by myself but when I've been in bed for over a week.. it becomes very very tough. Usually I love watching the seasons unfold right outside my bedroom window and I even appreciate that very few people in my life make demands on my time Most understand. When I can't see my fav people, I stay close to them by instant messaging and texting. But over a week in bed, waiting to get well is taking it's toll on my spirit. Please tell me what you do, when you're feeling lonely. Thank you. P.J.
