i dont know what they will give4 me but i want soemthing long term and

something for breakthru the 5 roxys didn't do it for me and i took more so

they acted li8ke i was abusing them they wwerent lating but two hours

interesting about the metobolizing i didn't know about that i just hope he can

help me the sad part is i go to pain mangemnt the new guy on thrusday but i

cant fill my rxs till Monday they are to soon i will try to get them on sat

but theat would be 5 days early they may or may not go thru my insurance not

sure wish me luck]

So many seem to presume that everyone " should " fit into some predetermined

idea or pigeonhole.

Btw, I metabolize some drugs faster than others too; so, oxycontin didn't

last the full 12 hours, but rather about 8 hours, with a longer tail end.

Still,it was better than some meds which last only 2-3 hours.

One pain mgt MD I had gave me *3* oxycontin a day and several shorter

lasting hydrocdone for brreakthrough pain. That was unusual though.
