Guest guest
Thank you, . Your advice is right on but I am already seeing a physical therapist who knows her stuff. The problem is that the soft tissues of my shoulder are, as the doc put it, extremely thin and in very poor condition. My muscles need to move to stimulate the lymph system but moving them much at all causes the swelling. If I can get past this stage of fragility and build some strength, I will hopefully have a lot less swelling assuming the lymph system can recover. Thanks again, Margie > > If you have lymphatic swelling in your arm I would recommend you check with someone who deals with lymphedema - usually an occupational therapist - and you would need a physician referral - they deal mostly with women with swelling after mastectomy but it can occur anytime the lymph system is blocked - arms and legs - they have compression sleeves and various therapies to improve the lymph flow > Talk to your doctor about checking it out - it could help a lot > >
