Guest guest Posted May 9, 2008 Report Share Posted May 9, 2008 Hi Val, I've started Cytomel by switching out 1 grain Armour for 25mcg Cytomel once a week. Before the Cytomel, I was up to 4 3/4 grains Armour. Since I've been feeling so awful (incredibly hypo-- exhausted, gaining weight, dry skin/eyes plus a high pulse rate which I'm attributing to high RT3), I've actually started decreasing the Armour by 1/4 grain more each week just to reduce the amount of T4 I'm taking a little faster (so I'm actually switching out 1 1/4 grains Armour for 25mcg Cytomel each week). I'm currently doing the following dosing: Wakeup: 1 1/2 grains Armour, 25mcg Cytomel 1pm: 25mcg Cytomel 4pm: 1 grain Armour Tomorrow I am ready to switch out more Armour for another 25mcg Cytomel. What I thought I'd do is eliminate the 4pm Armour and replace that with a bedtime dose of Cytomel. So dosing would be: Wakeup: 1 1/4 grains Armour, 25mcg Cytomel 1pm: 25mcg Cytomel Bedtime: 25mcg Cytomel Does that make sense to you, or would you recommend a different dosing schedule?
