Guest guest
Couple of things that I thought I would lump into one post. First of all, welcome both and Stacie. Although I don't have any children, I, like Stacie feel, make that Know, that my vulvodynia started with a yeast infection. I am glad that you guys found us and I know that you will look forward to the posts and information as much as I do! The list has been a great source of strength and comfort just in knowing that I was not alone with this condition. No other female I know, aside from the other ladies on the list, have this or even heard of it! It helps sharing. Secondly, is it my imagination or are we getting more new members recently. I was wondering if the section on the Body2000 relating to vulvodynia has sent women searching?? Lastly, horray for you a!! You are such a sweet girl. We will keep our fingers crossed for you that this will do the trick so to speak! I know you probably slept better last night than you had in along time just in knowing that you feel you are on the right track with your pain and burning. Oh yeah, one more thing. This is not an advertisement for Dr. Marjorie Crandall, although I do think that because of her I was able to rid myself of constant burning and irritation, but I know someone was asking for her telephone number. The number for her Yeast Consulting Services is (310)375-1073. She charges a consulting fee of $30 for up to 30 minutes for the consultation but I have got to tell you that if you suspect yeast, she can really be a Godsend. She also has a website. http://home1.gte.net/ycs I hope everyone has a painfree and happy day! Michele
Guest guest
Michele: I know my VV started with yeast infections, meds for it and tons of antibs. Dr. Crandall. Do you know if she's in Los Angeles? That looks like an LA area code? What type of doc is she? Does she see patients or just consults over the phone? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Lainey, Dr. Crandall, a Phd is a researcher from UCLA. She is out of the Los Angeles area and unfortunately, she doesn't see patients just does the phone consultations. Her research though is strictly yeast and has been for over 20 years. What I found helpful is her explanation of the yeast process and how it resulted in my vulvodynia and the course of treatment that she suggested I ask my doctor for, One other thing, she will send you a packet to give your doctor to help " educate " him. Mine couldn't be bothered but he did give me the treatment she suggested so I was happy about that. AND, it did help me so I was even happier. If you want to know anything else, email me and I would be happy to offer any help I can. By the way, I am very sorry that you are feeling so bad lately. I hope that the coming week offers relief for you. Sincerely, Michele. --- Lainey9911@... wrote: > From: Lainey9911@... > > Michele: > > I know my VV started with yeast infections, meds for > it and tons of antibs. > Dr. Crandall.
