Guest guest
Hi I have been on T3 since 31st December and feel much better on it than on armour, although I don't know whether or not I have an RT3 issue. I changed because after fifteen years on levothyroxine and a year on armour getting up to 4 grains I did not really feel much better. I've had salivary adrenal test done three times and my cortisol (never low) has gradually got higher at 8am before plungeing at noon and 4pm. On the advice of Val I take licorice root to even it out. I do think I am much better on T3, less depressed generally and more energy. I am now up to 150mcg T3. Does this seem too high? My temps are still low (95.9 basal this am) and I don't feel hyper at all, apart from the occasional shakiness but this tends to be when I need to take another dose. I just want some reassurance because I've read on other forums that 100mcg is a VERY high dose, let alone what I am taking! What should I do next? I do feel better but not there yet. Should I just keep raising? Has anyone added a bit of armour and noticed they feel better? Thanks in advance for your help
Guest guest
Hi , Where do you get your Cytomel from? My dr has me on armour but I have cortisol issues so I want to switch. Do you know if it can be ordered online? Thanks Steph > > Hi > I have been on T3 since 31st December and feel much better on it than > on armour, although I don't know whether or not I have an RT3 issue.
