Guest guest
Hello Alli, Enjoy the spa treatments and oh the food! Get well soon. Such a sad time, but they have each other and you in spirit. Love and Light, From: alli Sent: Monday, January 23, 2012 11:42 PM To: Stillsdisease Subject: update - in resort, memorial, etc Hi all, First I want to thank everyone for your support and ideas. The memorial for our little 'angel' Lilag will be on Wednesday afternoon. My Nephew and his wife made some very Wise decisions in regards to the funeral/memorial to make it easier for them and the family. They will have a private Viewing to say good bye (Just the two of them) on Tuesday, and then before the rest of the family joins them for the Gravesite memorial on Wed afternoon, Lilag will be buried. The site will have a covered seating area and an area for flowers That is lit. The covered seating area will also be lit up. This will be much easier to help everyone else focus on helping and Ariane Instead of focusing on a tiny little casket. Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to go. I saw my doctor at 4 yesterday and she put me in the resort for pneumonia and Orthostatic-hypotention (which we all know, seems to be what my body loves to do when I get sick). I don't think I can even Count how many times I have had it now. It really saddens me that I will not be able to be there for them, but I know that others will be there for them and I have to take care of my Health right now. I keep telling myself that I will be there for them when others will not be able to be there for them, but I still grieve that I won't be able to grieve with the rest of my family. I was shocked to find out that I had pneumonia and didn't know it. I have pain from Swollen lymph nodes on my left side and a few on my right side all the time and costrocondritis all the time on the left side and the pain level Gets worse at times, so it's always hard to determine if it is something different. Oh Well. Anyway, Life Happens, right? Hugs to all, Alli

Guest guest
Thanks , if only they had spa treatments! And oh yes, the room service is so wonderful! Surprisingly, the nurses said what we get is better then what they get in the cafeteria (my stomach gets upset at the thought of that). They all wanted my meal last night and I could hardly eat it! Haha... You are correct, I will be with my family in spirit on we'd afternoon. So sad about Kathleen also. I hope she and lilag have already met Hugs Alli >

Guest guest
Dearest Alli, I think the pneumonia can sneak in without us knowing it and can turn serious very fast. I'm sorry your being sick is causing you to miss the services and know that often the upset in our lives causes extra pain and our illness to intensify. We are thinking of you with love and condolences. Please let us know when you are able to be home again. Hugs,

Guest guest
Ali, So many bad things going on with us all this season. I just got home from the resort and have missed out on so many sad happenings. Now to find you have been in the resort as well. I did see about Kathleen and your niece but my pad was not the easiest thing to use to dig into details much. I ended up with IV antibiotics because of allergies to certain drugs of choice. And of course go IV solumedrol. And my bone marrow was so busy fighting infections that it stopped pumping out red cells. Hence a transfusion last night. During my stay, one of my night nurses just happened to be related to Bob, in some convoluted in-law, out-law, or other relationship. She saw Stills Disease on my chart and said that she knew someone in Florida who was " involved in something with Stills internationaly " . I asked if it was Bob Himes, and of course it was. So, in Bob's honour I have diligently cleaned my email. And in honour of Cat, I spelled Honour the " correct way " . At least for our brethren in Canada and the UK. Any way, in closing, Ali, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
