Thanks for this. It rings all the alarm bells for sure, but I don't think

the English is all that poor. I wouldn't have said it was written by a

'foreigner', only by someone a little careless who didn't bother to polish

it - and it doesn't need all that much polish, at that. For example, it

should be " you will receive an autoresponder message " and there is a

missing apostrophe also, something that sadly many native speakers are

ignorant about. The tenses are OK, I would have said, and tenses are one

of the pitfalls that trap the unwary 'foreigner'.

Braig - who is a pure English person. Curiously, when I read that message, I had

This sounds like an unfortunate misunderstanding and I hope it can be

resolved amicably.

, the hustle, hustle, rush, rush is a pretty good indicator. Someone

wants to make you rush into something. I agree with , I'd steer

well clear of them if they think that's the way respectable people do

business.

, I agree with Dawn, I think it was probably a misunderstanding -

someone doing what sadly I often do, rushing into answering an e-mail after

reading only half of it. I think she thought it was you who was doing the

hustling. I suspect a diplomatic suggestion that she actually read your

post might cause a bit of a red face at the ProZ end but will hopefully

resolve the problem.
