My reason for wanting to try it was weak: " Several people in my support group tell me how much it helps them and I'd like to try it. " I had no idea how many purely neurological symptoms K-DUR helped eliminate. I'm so grateful for my patience and my doctor's patience for my requests while asking for help and while struggling with many problems I know longer have, including recurring kidney stones. Your doctor has the power to say yes or no to prescriptions you might like to try. Respecting your doctor while asking for help with symptoms is difficult when we're so miserable but worth it. I have a situation where I would appreciate my local doctor writing my prescriptions for time-released Potassium. I am writing a letter to my local doctor for my K-Dur-prescribing doctor to sign so I may not have to bother this doctor for such prescriptions. This doctor no longer takes my insurance (other than Medicare for established patients like me) and whose office is 42 miles away from my home. Patience, gentleness and creativity helps our doctors help us. toni cf-alliance.tripod.com/ from iPad
