Guest guest
You might want to try Overeaters Anoymous before you try drug or surgery for weight loss. Alli has side effects that might make your CFS worse. ________________________________ Subject: Need to lose weight I'd really like to lose weight and exercising often makes me feel worse. I know I need to adjust my portions and food choices but I was wondering if anyone has tried Alli? I've heard it's safe and helps with fat blockage. Has anyone of us tried? Pros/cons it? Guest guest
Chloe, I don't have experience with Alli, though I know people who have taken it. But I want to tell you that I did take a natural version of fat blockers. There are many, but the basic ingredient is chitosan, which comes from shellfish. [something *not* to take if you're allergic to shellfish!]. I find they work, though I happen to easily gain weight back. I do know since I read the info on my niece's Alli, that one still has to limit the fat in a meal, as what happens is, if we eat too much fat while taking Alli, just as with Meridian and others, we wind up excreting the fat as oil. It can come on like a sudden intense attack of diarrhea, so be cautious. :-) I've heard of accidents happening. Btw. Chloe, do you by any chance have high blood pressure and high cholesterol along with real difficulty losing weight? I do, which is why I'm asking. Because I found out I have a condtion called Metabolic Syndrome, which I had previously thought only meant I was fat and had high blood pressure/high cholesterol. :-/ :-p I had a saliva test plus other factors were obtained by my description and health issues. And found out I had it. With a special high protein low carbs diet, plus specific supplements to help the Metabolic condition as well as the weight loss, my blood pressure went *way* down and I lost 49 lbs. It may not apply to you of course. But, I thought it might, because often when we're fatigued and/or in pain we wind up with lots of stress- which can raise our cortisol *and* cholesterol levels. I wish you all the best of luck with getting the excess weight off however you do it. :-) Need to lose weight I'd really like to lose weight and exercising often makes me feel worse. I know I need to adjust my portions and food choices but I was wondering if anyone has tried Alli? I've heard it's safe and helps with fat blockage. Has anyone of us tried? Pros/cons it? Guest guest
Chole, my best friend tried it and it gave her the runs from hell. I don't know if it does that to everyone but you might want to read the bottle really careful. Blessed Be...De A MIND IS LIKE A PARACHUTE...IT ONLY WORKS WHEN IT'S OPEN.
