Guest guest
Well, is still in the hospital, he had a infection. They put him on IV antibiotics. He will get out on Monday if everything goes well. He will have a catheter put in his arm and he will be on IV antibiotics when he is at home for 2 weeks. I think, said something about that but he is so drugged up on Fetanal (he has a drip that he can control) I don't always know what's going on. The doctor said he was too skinny that if a liver was available he wouldn't have enough strength to go through with it. so they are making him eat like every few hours. Hopefully he can get his weight up quickly. Saint Louis University hasn't ever done a live donor transplant before. But they are going to start in a month or so. And the transplant surgeons said that would be a good candidate for it. So might be able to get that. He has his mom his uncle and his brother that have B+ blood. But his mom wont put his brother through something like that so his brother is out of the question, so that leaves 's mom and uncle. But I could probably give him half my liver cause I have the universal blood type. And I am younger and probably healthier. But I don't know. Everything is still all up in the air. g/f of , UC/PSC dx Aug00
