Some wonderful news that only a CHARGE parent can understand. Last week I

was making toast and filling up the first floor with the smell of burnt

crumbs when Caitlyn came downstairs and said " What's that

smell?....... " Mommy something smells! "

For those of you with very young CHARGErs or new to the list, one of our

many questions (mine included) has been " Can our CHARGErs smell? " Well I

let out such a squeal of delight you'd think she had taken her first step!

Caitlyn does not have choanal atresia or cleft palate but has never given us

any indication before she could smell no matter what we put under her nose

so one more mystery for us is solved!

Jeanne mom to Caitlyn age 4 1/2yrs cHaRgEr

Jeanne,

You should be squealing and jumping up and down. That's great

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We know that Tryny doesn't smell or taste anything so it's

good to hear about the ones that can. I am so happy for you all, one less

hurdle to overcome.

Debra
