Guest guest
I have to remind myself that our illnesses require adaptation -- the flexible, creative use of resources to maximize our choices and experiences. It's our key to creating and sustaining a sense of inner tranquility in the face of our difficulties. There is no need to deny the facts of our existence or to pretend to others that all is well. Our chronically ill lives involve the belief that your personal worth transcends physical limitations. We can't let physical pain and its emotional pain engulf our lives. We have countless reasons for living with true potential for our futures as those living with chronic illness.
