This year is the first time State of Texas employees were offered Long Term

Care insurance. We have to pay the insuance company ourselves innstead of

it being deducted from our pay check. Once we get it, the premium remains

the same. Active employees and retirees were guarenteed coverage if we got

it by 8-31-00. Coverage for dependents and parents required EOI.
