Guest guest
Hi- I read Wendi's email re: the hearing aids. I thought I would give you a personal example of re-using someone's hearing aids. I am the grandfather of Ogan, age 7 (CHARGE), daughter of Rick and Marilyn Ogan. got new aids and I had put of f getting them. (you know, the MAN thing, vanity). Well Marilyn insisted that I try to use 's old aids. These are the type that fit over and behind the ear and has a separate ear mold. I went to our local Micacle Ear dealer and the technician said they were very powerful. One needed repair and I needed 2 new ear molds. To make a long story short, the molds were $45 each and the repair was I think about $100 but for the $ 190.00 I have a good set of hearing aids. Sure beats $2500 to $5000 for new ones. The technician said to never throw them away because they will be good indefinitely, and can be handed down to others. They are definitely worth reusing.
