Guest guest
I just spoke with Jacquelyn. She wants to thank Tim, Aubrey and Roy for the information on the anti-rejection drugs. Phil also suggested that even though she was in a remission according to the colonoscopy that unless he takes Esulfadine, (he too is in a remission) he starts to have colitis problems and that he need the medication to remain in that state. The suggestions an information has given her a lot to ask the doctors about before they arbitrarily switch her anti-rejection meds. She is leaving Secure Horizons as of the first of the year and switching to straight Medicare so she can chose her own doctors. She said that Medicare is supposed to cover 80 percent of anti-rejection drugs so she is also fighting that out. She is still having blueness in her legs but not the redness but she isn't standing on them. She is having a lot of pain where they did the surgery and had a hassle with the nurse about refilling her pain medication. I think it's a miracle that she went home so soon after the surgery, let alone that she shouln't be having pain. Sometimes you wonder if these people have a brain or any feelings at all. She says hi to you all and thanks you for your prayers and concern but she does need continued prayer that they can get a handle on these other problems she is having so that she can enjoy the new liver that is working wonderfully.
