Urgent question from Imogene

Please, someone tell me if any of you have had a LO on Zoloft for a long

time, and the Doctor wants to cut it in half? He thinks that is why Don is

crying all the time.

Don seems to have worn out it's use for him.

I was told they will watch him very closely. I know they will. But, so will

I. This scares me half to death. He has done so well so long and now this.

The Excellon didn't work, and it is gone now, but now the Doctor seems to think

that Zoloft has worn off it's effect. He has been on it since 1995. A lesser

dose, but increased in the last three years.

Today, Don talked out of his head a lot. At one point he said something

about a lawsuit, and he hoped the police didn't put him in jail. He said if

they

did he would kill himself. I said, " Darling, you are a fine man, and no one

is going to put you in jail. And sweetheart there is no lawsuit, so not to

worry. " He leaned over in my arms and bawled like a baby. His daughter happened

to see him and I made sure she saw him crying.

So, tonight she said the Doctor came in to see him, and wants to change the

medicine. I asked how much. She said from 200 mg, to 100 mg a day. I asked

how long will it be before we know which way he is going to go? She said in a

day or two, maybe a week. I said Don't leave him off more that one week. I

know how he was before he had it. He may tear the nursing home apart. Yes, it

scares me.

What experience have any of you had?

Thanks a million (if I had it)
