Guest guest
Hi All, Last week I called my rhemy with aquestion bout my meds. I have been on this mixture at this dosage for about a month now. My swelling is still the same, pain is returning, hands are numb, and meds are making me sick enough to miss an average of 2-3 days of work each week and the shut off notices are stacking up. Basically I wanted to know if I should be seeing some results from this medication that is making me so sick at this point or if possibly its time to try something different. I start back to school this week. After 6 hours the nurse calls me back and says, well Dr. says you need carpal tunnel surgery. I say allright what about the meds. She says well thats all he said you shouldget in touch with your family Dr about the surgery I guess cuz Dr. didnt write anything else in your chart. So I hang up the phone in shock sort of. This Dr not only didnt answer my question but didnt feel the need to notify me that I needed surgery for over three weeks (I had an EMG done at his office Jan 2). It stands to reason he wouldnt have bothered to mention anything at all until my appointment in March. After the shock wore off I got angry how dare this man who is supposed to have my best interest in mind allow me to go on suffering with this condition for even one moment longer than I have to. If I had known about the surgery three weeks ago I may have either already had it done or at least had something scheduled by now. How can a human being be so uncaring. If it was his life or his mothers or sisters or wifes I think thestory wouldplay out a little different. Anyhow on a brighter note a few people pulled some strings and got me an appointment with a new rhemy. I am hoping it works out a little better with the new Dr. soeveryone wish me luck and Ill let you know how it works out. Feeling hopefull,
