Guest guest
A trigger finger with an orange-sized lump? Kathi, I don't think I've ever read of such a thing. How is it now? At least your DH got a break for some time, LOL. Do you notice any difference in your knees? I'm sure you will be the loveliest fountain in OK. I'm quite worried about Susie. I haven't heard a thing from her. I sent her a couple of things and got no response. [ ] Re: Big update and surgery information...Tess and newbies > Tess: Sorry this reply is so behind. Guest guest
: Yes, the finger is better. I think if it had been correctly diaganosed from the beginning it would never had achieved that size. They kept saying it was a rhem. nodule then OH NO we need to send you to orthro. As it was in the middle finger it had the whole hand to enlarge into. Yes I believe the synvysc is working, as they are doing one knee at a time and the left with the shot feels much better than the right. How are you? feeling....as you never complain, I always wonder how you deal with the bad days.....I have also sent several notes to Susie and nothing....I know I have times when I really just go away and lick my wounds, but I usually resurface, but I havent seen anything from or about her, so it worries me. Even when she doesnt post she usually sends someone a line......with the weather you guys are having up north, I guess I will be thankful to be a fountain in the southwest.....LOL.......Kathi in OK > A trigger finger with an orange-sized lump? Guest guest
Kathi, I must have missed that post after Christmas. I'm just glad you're back! It's great to see so many old timers back posting again. I also resent loosing my career. I enjoy working. I work for a temp company. I've been placed at an insurance company 2 days a week. I really like it. It's actually easier for me to work than to stay home. At work I sit at a desk and answer phones, take customer payments, change cars on policies etc. I can get up and move around whenever I need to. It's a very busy office and the day is over quickly. I don't have time to dwell on my problems. Do you have a Temp company near you? The worse part of my job is getting there. Some days are really hard, but I enjoy it so much that I push myself. a > > a: Yesm my finger feels better, although as it was the middle > finger, I am not so sure my husband is happy it is better....;>}....I > think I posted at or right after Christmas so I wasnt gone to > long...and it means alot that you missed me ...so thank you, although > there are probably a few saying OH DRAT...she's back....I am sorry to > hear you are having a rough time with your ankles. Guest guest
a: You sound so happy, so congrats on your new job. Yes,they have several temp companies here. I have broached the subject of part time work several times, with my better half and he gets very upset. He feels after all the BS with SS that it would'nt be worth it. He seems to think that I would loose my BIG benifits with a part time job. I cant seem to make him understand that I would gain other satisfaction from feeling usefull again. Are you still taking classes, also? Speaking of oldies....how is Lynn and has anyone heard from Iris? Anyways a once again CONGRATS on your new job......hugs Kathi in OK PS.....please don't push to hard.... > Kathi, > I must have missed that post after Christmas. Guest guest
I work part time - SS told me that as long as I kept it at approx. $300. per month or less that they wouldn't consider it gainful employment - the SS rules say you can earn up to 700 or 800 I think but that throws up a red flag to them. I only work 6 hours a week - 2-three hour days- but it mean the world to me to get out of the house and see people-I left a very demanding job as an administrative assistant for 3 people at a private school and it left me feeling quite inadequate for a while. My part time job is just what the dr. ordered. ANJILLAH@... wrote: To Who it does Concern: The Social Security benefits that the government gives, allows one to work part-time. You have to check with them. There is a limit on how much you can earn. However, I feel it is adequate for a part-time job. It is more than you would have then if you didn't work part-time. You don't loose your " check " if you work part-time. Just follow the rules. Tell your husband. Sincerely, (Anjillah) Anjillah@...
