Guest guest
I am agreeing with Steve. Look into homeschool or online charter schools. K-12 is one to look into. Try a google search for online charter schools in your state. I'd be happy to help if you get started. Alyeen > ** > > > Thank you for this and to everyone who has replied. Guest guest
Believe your daughter!!! She is the only one who really knows how she feels and it can change from moment to moment and day to day. Most people with ME/CFS try too hard to do things and suffer relapses as a consequence. Help your daughter to have confidence in herself by having confidence in her. Have you had her adrenal hormone levels tested. Often people with ME.CFS have low levels of thyroid and or adrenal hormones. Correcting those deficiencies if they are present can make a huge difference. Also Vit D levels should be high enough....blood test. Your daughter needs you to be her advocate now, stand by her. Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev > > My daughter is 14 and has been troubled by Chronic Fatigue/ME for three years. This takes the form of regular viruses and infections (particularly ear infections) which lay her very low. On the other hand she does manage to function on a day to day basis. She is learning guitar, will walk a mile (although tired afterwards) and enjoys the odd concert, listens to a lot of music, surfs the internet etc. > > We have tried many different approaches with varying degrees of success.
