Guest guest
((((((((((((((Dearest Kathy)))))))))))) ... this must be a very difficult day for you. I'm so sorry. Please take sweet care of you. The housing issue is complicated. I would never, ever put Em in a position of not having housing. Things are so hard for her cause on one hand she is pretty much a normal young adult with all the hopes and dreams that come with that. But the disabilities cause trouble in many ways. She just doesn't " get " some things, and she gets confused somewhat easily, and in some cases has been taken advantage of. There is a possibility she may work as sort of a nanny for some friends and live there. There is also the possibility we may stay in our 2 bedroom for now, but on Sec. 8. Some decisions are going to have to be made in the next few months. You are such a trooper, Kathy. I admire you very much. Hang in there, kiddo, and know you are loved very much. Always... I know what you mean about the job climate here! I'm so lucky I'm in a growing field! But my 17 year old son, who has never had a " real " job, has been trying to find something part time for a year! The problem is so many adults are needing 2nd and 3rd jobs just to support their families, that my teen goofball doesn't stand a chance. Good luck to you both.
