Deadline: December 19, 2008 The Translations Office, NIH Library, Bethesda, land, is looking for a full-time, in-house translator/reviewer to provide translations of biomedical research, medical, public health, and scientific reports, as well as legal documents from German and/or Russian into English. Must also be able to provide quality control of translations contracted out into and from English and various languages. Must have professional experience in the biomedical/health sciences, professional language proficiency in German and/or Russian, and qualified experience in translating German and/or Russian into English with excellent professional proficiency in spoken and written English, including technical terminology. Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the federal service. U.S. citizenship required.
