Guest guest
Judi, Please let us know where we can read the article. I bet it's great, you write well in your letters. You also have trigemenal neuralgia? Good grief, what else? I have to share this with you. My mother's sister, who is 75, has had problems with trigemenal neuralgia for the past several years. She tried drugs, that made her loopy, and finally decided she had to go through with brain surgery to short circuit the nerve pain. Unfortunately, she had a stroke during surgery, which had her unable to communicate for several weeks. (surgery was December 18) Last week, she finally began talking again, slurred speech so far, but she knows whats going on and can get her point across. She's still got a lot of recovery to do, but she's coming back. It's really quite impressive. Noreen [ ] Boo--Topamax/Angels Hi Boo, Sure, soon as I find out I'll let you know when the story will be in. The magazine comes out every other month. I just started the Topamax a little over a week ago, 1/2 tablet for a week (I think 25 mg?) and will be a whole tablet this Thursday for a week, then another increase. I was on Neurontin, 900 mg 3 times a day but it wasn't helping the nerve pain. It's for the Dercum nerve pain PLUS trigeminal neuralgia. Wonder I don't light up light bulbs like Uncle Fester! Time to go watch " The Barbarians " on the History Channel. You'd think with over 100 channels we could find one we watch more than this one. Peace, Judi
