Guest guest
Hello ,I'm so sorry your having such a hard time right off the bat. It's hard enough dealing with having the disease and all that implys but to have to play these stupid games at the doctors office are inexcusible.I've wished so many times my doctors could walk one day in my shoes and then see how tight he'd be with the pain med's.You've began what I call the roller coaster ride of this disease.I've had several Rheumy's.Not all were good but there's no way you deserve to be treated that way. It's really frustrating for me right now as there are only two rheumatalogists in my area(still have to go 60 miles) and only one will accept my insurance.Luckily I like him but it doesn't leave me any options. The feild is very narrow. And it is such a struggle to get pain med's. It took me year's to finaly get the one's I have now and I have to get them through my internal medicine PCP doctor. My rheumy won't even touch anything that strong. It was a real battle. You really have to stick to your guns.Good luck in your fight and don't give up.Contact me if you'd like. And by the way, welcome.Gentleness,Boo.
