Tater Tot Casserole

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef

1 medium onion

1 can of peas (optional)

1 bag tater tots

1 can cream of mushroom soup

Brown beef and onion; drain.

Add peas and mushroom soup; warm through.

Put in sprayed casserole dish and top with tater tots.

Bake at 375-degrees for 30 minutes

OR......

Use a 13x9 cake pan.

Layer a pkg of tater tots on the bottom.

Layer cooked hamburger (amount is up to you), green beans or peas.

Pour a can of Chicken (or celery)soup.

Bake at 375* for about 30 minutes.

Chicken and Rice Casserole

1 cup uncooked long grain rice

2 cups chopped cooked chicken

2 10 1/2 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup

1 8 ounce can sliced water chestnuts, drained

1 (3 1/2 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

1 cup chopped celery

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 small onion chopped

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed cornflakes cereal

Garnish with fresh parsley

Cook rice according to package directions.

Stir ogether cooked rice and next 10 ingredients in a bowl.

Spoon into a lightly greased 13 by 9 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle evenly with cereal.

Bake at 350 for 30 min or until golden and bubbly.

Garnish with parsley.
