Guest guest
hi kerri - how about picking an outfit from the closet that is too small or tight and using that as a goal? just something, anything, that doesnt fit as best that it could right now. also i think that 2 pounds per month is a reasonable goal. the two, together, should work fine. *~*~*~*~* Carolyn in ONT Canada RE: >In the past, my goals > were vague as above, so I was thinking of specifics, > like loosing 2 pounds per month for the months of > March, April, May, June, July, and August. Guest guest
I used to be good at this. However in past years I haven't been able to get to the end results. Anyone have any tricks or ideas that may help? My long term goal is to lose 20 pounds by September 20th.
Guest guest
I always break a long term goal into weekly goals. I usually aim for losing bodyfat rather than weight. So if I wanted to drop 6% BF in 12 weeks, I shoot to 0.5% weekly. And I will check it weekly. If I am not on target, then I look at my diet or training to see where I can improve. Guest guest
I'm not sure what you're asking here. Do you need help setting short term goals, or sticking with the program? Anyway, losing 20 lbs over about six weeks is a bit of a tall order. If you lose 1-2 lbs of fat each week on average, you're doing well. I don't see BFL as a get there quick kind of thing. It's a lifestyle and a process. It takes us a long time to get out of shape, and it will take time, patience, and perserverance to get back into shape. Best of luck to you! > > I used to be good at this. However in past years I haven't been able > to get to the end results. Anyone have any tricks or ideas that may > help?
