Guest guest
Welcome Margie. So sorry you're flaring. Nice to meet someone that has had RA longer than I've had. I'm 49 and was diagnosed in my early 20's. Do you have a lot of joint damage? I'm on Enbrel also. Consumer Labs is an independent company that tests supplements to see if what is stated on the label is actually in the bottle. Glucosimine Chondroitin had a high rate of failure, in that the labels claim to have a certain amount of the supplement, but when tested, some actually had NONE. This site tells which passed and can be used as a guide to choose supplements. The site used to be free, but now charges for some things. I guess someone has to help pay for the testing. http://www.consumerlab.com/results/gluco.asp Look around the site for other supplements. There is a lot of good information here. I take Carlson's cod liver oil and it's measured in teaspoons. I'm not sure how much that is, but I've seen these recommendations: Fish Oils 6 -10 grams Glucosamine Sulfate: 1,000-2,000 mg a > Oh, thank you, thank you, for the jokes! Keep 'em coming!!
