Can anyone recommend a rheumatologist?

Hi,

I live in central CT and my mother is severely

afflicted with RA. She currently sees a

rheumatologist, but I don't think he is aggressive

enough with some of the newer medications and she is

getting progressively worse. Part of the problem is

her unwillingness to complain or demand a different

course of action. He does see the progression of the

disease in the xrays of her hands and feet, but

still offers no alternative course of meds. I think

she needs a doctor who will be more active in her

therapy and not so willing to let her wind up in a

wheelchair (she is very close). Is there anyone

on the list who is local to me and is happy with their

current doctor?
