Hey everyone!

Just wanted to say thank you to , Debs,

Althea......just when I am feeling really happy about finding a

place with so much kindness and information that I need, you guys

top yourselves and send out even more kindnesses(if that's not a

word, it should be!) I work in a caring profession (a dental office)

and I find that my soothing phone voice and compassion has really,

really helped reluctant patients to know that there is help at our

office for them, even those who have neglected their dental health,

or their health in general. Many, many people would be more willing

to see to their own concerns about their bodies if they felt that

there were others who cared about the outcome. I urge everyone here

to step outside themselves like those who offer kind words or words

of wisdom here......the feeling you get in your heart is healing in

itself. Althea, I do get cortisone injections or anti-inflammatory

injections-I just had one last week to calm down a 10 day batch of

mid back muscle spasms. I don't know what I would do without them

sonmetimes. My left hip and ankle " freeze " into a stationary

position and I have to get them to " unfreeze " them. I worry about

the effects long term and monitor the number I get per year, but

there is no doubt that these can help cross the bridge from one

Remicade infusion to another. With every treatment I learn what

benefits my body and what does little good-hopefully this awareness

and the info gained from people such as yourselves will smooth the

way, per se, to better manageability of these diseases for me. As we

all go about our daily lives we can take comfort in the fact that if

nothing else, these diseases have made us all a more compassionate

group of people-what more can the world expect from us but the very

best that we all have in our hearts earned with the understanding

one gains from fighting the good fight? A kind word well placed is

better medicine than a handful of pills! Best wishes to all!
