Guest guest
When I meet new guys online whom I might want to know better, I implement a variation on these suggestions when preparing to meet them for a coffee date. It's understandable that people want to put their best foot forward to make a good impression, yet I often learn a lot more about a guy during the 10 minutes before we actually shake hands at the coffee shop. Is he rude to the waitstaff? Does he read offensive (to me) politically oriented books or magazines? Does he pick his nose or " fix himself " in public? Stuff like that. What do my coffee dates have to do with interviewing for a job? Well, guess what.... employers often do similar 'surveillance' when preparing to meet a candidate. These job interview preparation suggestions may not be news for some of you. Yet it never hurts to remind folks (especially Aspie young folks) that the little things really do matter, and that the real interview begins well before one actually sits down to talk about the job. 9 tips to prepare for a job interview http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505125_162-57450010/9-tips-to-prepare-for-a-job-inte\ rview/?tag=contentMain;contentBody Enjoy (or not), ~CJ
