Guest guest
I'm a fir tree. Not only did most of it fit me, but I live in the woods, surronded by fir trees and have fir trees of all shapes, sizes and materials all over my living room. Very weird. Noreen [ ] Jan and Boo. I'm glad that you are closer to your celtic astrology than I am. I am a Cedar Tree (the Confidence). The " of good health " part definately does not apply (lol) and the " not in the least bit shy " is not really me either. I am a little shy but am mainly just introverted. I am also not a great speaker, or determined and I am having a really hard time being optimistic (but I am working on that one). I guess some of the other things are true but the ones that are not are way off base. Jan, I loved the WV family problems email you posted. I live only 15 minutes from WV and can definately relate (not personally of course) to that email. I loved the 'one flaw in women' also. Have a great day everyone Mck
Guest guest
How about Ficus trees that grow really bushy. I live in AZ, the desert. Doesn't sound like overkill if it is needed to stop has much microwaves has possible. How do the trees work? Do they help scatter the radition? I may try something with aluminum foil then, you have given me some ideas, though one concern for me is that there are towers in other directions has well, so I would love it if some type of clothing would help. Then I could block the closer towers (that really worry me) and also have protection from the other directions has well has whatever is flowing around the shields I come up with. Thanks for your detailed description. It is encourging and I can get creative with what inexpensive things I can come up with. I did order a 5'x6' silver mesh fabric from lessemf.com. I really want to make sure I can get some good shielding while I sleep. I will let everyone here know how it works! I checked at the hardware store and can buy copper insulated wire and a brass stake so I can ground the fabric. Just about $11 and it seems it might make the shield more efficent. Guest guest
Hi, Loni, Are ficus trees evergreen (leaves all year) where you are? I have grown ornamental ficus but I do not know how they grow in nature. If they keep their leaves, yes they will shield some. The more moisture intense a tree's leaves are, tho, probably makes a difference in how well it shields. But that said, I see great shielding benefits from trees like white pine and magnolia, which on the surface do not seem that moisture intense. Hmmm, the desert! You don't have the easiest landscape for using trees as shielding! You can call your state landscaping and farming extention to ask which trees/large shrubs will grow in your area. If there is a choice, you will also want trees/shrubs that grow quickly and are as large as possible, both in height and width. I have used arborvitae which is not very big in diameter (nor tall) in some instances, but that is because I only had a few feet of ground to work with or I was positioning the tree beside a window (to block frequencies that were from the east of a south-east facing window). If I had had more space, I would have planted something much larger. As to height, one house I looked at that was well shielded, had very tall pines (75+ ft), very closely planted in a zigzag pattern surrounding the house from about 40 to 120 feet away (a large oval yard). It was not confining nor did it create an overly dark yard. But the height of the tree/shrub you use will determine how far from your house you can place it. The ficus don't get very tall, do they? You WILL want a tree/shrub that is at least 5 to 10 feet higher than your house, if you plant it close to the house. Even taller if you plant it away from your house. What you want to consider is the direction of the emfs/magnetic frequencies and the height and angle that they are coming in at and then block these by positioning a fleshy tree between you and the frequencies. It is not enough to put a squat-low bush in front of your house--even alot of them. The bush has to physically be between you and the frequency source. Hope the ficus works out for you, Loni, Diane From: spiralwindintrees <aquilawolf@ juno. com> Subject: Re: Silver lined clothes? groups (DOT) com Date: Thursday, July 10, 2008, 7:47 PM What great ideas. Guest guest
Thanks Diane, it will be some time before the trees get big enough anyway. I need shielding now.
