Hello Ms. Georgi. Lori here. I wanted also to welcome you to this

group. I am sure you will love this list for all are caring and

informative. I have learned so much more about RSD and all the

effects from this group. I was diagnosed last March. At the time i

only had it in my left knee. Now it has spread to both feet both legs

and both hands. I went to my pain doc yesterday, and though he is

nice and seems to know about RSD, trying to get anything for pain out

of him is like pulling teeth. He did increase my duragesic patch from

25mcg to 50mcg. He was suppose to increase my Remeron, a sleeping and

depression med. I told him I was on 10 mg and I wanted 20. He said ok

and wrote a script. When I took it to the drugstore they said he did

not increase it, he decreased it because the new script called for

20mg and I was already on 30mg. So I told them they would have to

call him since he was suppose to increase it. They called him and he

said no, don't increase it, keep it at 30mcg. I was mad. It is a 2

hour drive to go there and he doesn't give any other pain meds and I

am always at about a 9 or 10. My pain has not gone down now for two

months. The Psychiatrist he wanted me to see has no openings until

the end of December. So my pain doc called that Psychiatrist and

asked for a favor to fit me in. Well they never called so I called

the Psycos office today and they said that Dr. Nasar could not fit me

in, all they could do is call me if they have a cancellation. Well, I

am not going to go to him. The whole reason my pain doc wanted me to

go to a Psychiatrist in his town is so my pain doc could be in

constant contact with the Psych. But I am not waiting anymore.

Tomorrow I will get a Psychiatrist tomorrow in my town. I am going to

a Psychiatrist because I am gathering all the proof I can that my

disease has spread and the pain increased because of a man that we

bought our home from on Land Contract has threatened me and sent over

40 letters to me and just completely harassed me. So much so, that I

stayed locked up in the house in fear of him. Well Monday we sign

papers with a Mortgage Company to pay that creep off. When that title

is not longer in his hands then I am going to sue him. My current

lawyer is meeting with an injury Lawyer next week with my proof and

my case to see if that lawyer will take the case. Injury lawyers do

not get paid unless you win, so they only take cases they are sure

they will win. This case could go either way. I still have to type up

the whole story about that man and get it to the Lawyer. I have put

it off because I just hate to have to think about it all again. But I

will get it done either tonite or tomorrow morning. Well, just wanted
