Guest guest
I am wondering if anyone is interested in providing feedback on an online diagnosis tool? We just completed a 1-year pilot in MN and we're looking to expand nationally and I _think_ it fits the IMP model very well, but that's not my decision to make. Hence the desire to solicit feedback. The abstract: Zipnosis (www.zipnosis.com) provides and online diagnosis for minor health problems. Patients pay $25.00 with a credit card for diagnosis and treatment in minutes. We don't process insurance, so payment is simple and fast. Our online interview uses national guidelines to transfer documentation time from the clinician to the patient. The patient is fine with this arrangement because it's so convenient and affordable. Clinicians should embrace this because it improves compliance and reduces visit time to about 2 minutes. Risk is managed via our software system that audits every click the patient (and provider) makes - and also ensures that the patient is qualified for online care. During the intake, if the patient is deemed inappropriate for online care, we stop the interview and ask them to be seen in clinic. The bottom line is this: it's direct payment for low-risk, high-satisfaction visits. Larger provider systems will be slow to move on this and it's an opportunity for IMP clinics to not only improve margins but capture new clients. Zipnosis provides the marketing to funnel volume - you simply provide the medical care. If you are interested in a demo and providing feedback please send some dates/times in April that work for you. I can do GoToMeeting or Skype. I'm looking for 5-10 people. Thanks for your help. Cheers, Jon
