Guest guest
Hi Toni, I had a similar problem with wc and carpal tunnel. I have had carpal tunnel for almost 9 years. Within that time I also developed RA, I am the only one in my family with it. All that you say about wc is true and gets much worst. After nine years of battling and winning I just recently lost my case with wc. The judge felt that most of my problems were not from my job. It didn't seem to matter that there was nothing wrong with me before I got hurt. My carpal tunnel originates in my neck so there was nothing surgical that could be done. I was upset when I lost my case but to be honest I am so glad to have wc out of my life. No more going to their rotten doctors, or having them sit outside my house or follow me around. The settlement would have been nice but knowing it is over is better. I am told I had the worst judge I could have ever gotten. Maybe someday it will happen to her and she will have to live the wc nightmare. I hope things go better for you and you get some relief. Guest guest
i also had carpal tunnel. both hands. my job sent me from place to place for about 8 months before they finlly admitted that was it. my sed rate was always high. i finally got sent to a rheumatologist because they were trying to prove it was not their fault. my whole team (6 of us) had it. 3 of us on both hands. i was so happy they sent me. she is a great dr!! i am going to see her today. after my surgeries seems like when it all started to travel ( pain) i also ended up with many bouts of tendonitis in many areas. also ended up having tarsal tunnel surgeries on both feet. then again several bouts of tendonitis. in many areas i'd get rid of one and it'd move elsewhere. i got casted for new orthodics yesterday and have green x's and o's on my feet (wanna play?) i have many aches and pains. been on the go too much with the memorial service last weekend, and all the snow we have had. i know i have done far too much. more snow again tomorrow. another 4-5 inches. it is so hard to walk my dog. some people don't shovel and the snow is almost to my knees. my coat was so heavy yesterday i could hardly pick it up. well gotta be at the dr at 8:15 this am. better get a move on. kathy in il ********************* no more snow please!!!!!!!
